The Project involves the resurfacing of various roadways within the Township including New Construction (NC), Maintenance Paving (MP), and Hot Mix Resurfacing (HM) program works. The following information provides a brief description of resurfacing parameters and the locations of the program works.
New Construction: Glasgow Street South (Urban & Rural) This project includes part or all of the following:
Maintenance Paving: Sandpiper Court (Urban) Sunset Place (Urban) Weigel Avenue (Urban)
These projects include part or all of the following:
Hot Mix Resurfacing: Chilligo Road (Rural) Hill Street (Rural) (Provisional) Menno Street (Rural) St. Charles Street East (Rural) Woolwich Guelph Townline (Rural)

Parking Lot Resurfacing: St. Jacobs Arena and Lions Hall Parking Lot Elmira Lawn Bowling Club Parking Lot

That the Council of the Township of Woolwich, considering Report IS23-2021, respecting the 2021 Paving Program:
- award Tender 2021-05 Paving Program for various roadways and parking lots within the Township to Steed and Evans Limited at a total cost of $3,371,308.80 after H.S.T. rebate;
- authorize the reallocation of Federal Gas Tax in the amount of $300,000.00 from Recreation & Community Service’s 2021 Property Maintenance Capital Budget to Infrastructure Service’s 2021 Capital Paving Budget;
- authorize the reallocation of Infrastructure Reserve Fund in the amount of $300,000.00 from Infrastructure Service’s 2021 Capital Paving Budget to Recreation & Community Service’s 2021 Property Maintenance Capital Budget;
- authorize additional funding from the Federal Gas Tax Reserve Fund to be used for the Hill Street Hot Mix Resurfacing project; and,
- authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign the contract documents.
