Union Street Reconstruction – Oriole Parkway East to Erb Street, extending over an approximate project distance of 1050 metres.
The work includes the replacement of the existing sanitary sewer, cellar drain, storm sewer, water supply system, roadway, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and municipal service connections to the street property line and within the existing and proposed easement. The work also includes the replacement of the culvert on Union Street, the removal and disposal of the existing garage at 15 Erb Street, and the removal and disposal of the wooden shed and relocation of the metal shed at 36 Wyatt Street. |

That the Council of the Township of Woolwich, considering Report IS09-2021 respecting the Award of the Union Street Reconstruction Project:
- awards the tender for the reconstruction of Union Street in Elmira to J. Weber Contracting Limited at a total cost of $4,349,799.43 after H.S.T rebate;
- authorizes the Mayor and Clerk of the Township of Woolwich to sign the contract documents and any land purchase/easement agreements;
- authorizes the Mayor and Clerk of the Township of Woolwich to enter into an agreement for: an aerial trespass in favour of Waterloo North Hydro for the property located at 28 Union Street, and property purchases at 1 Union Street, 15 Erb Street, 36 Wyatt Street, and 101 Bonnie Crescent; and
- awards GHD Limited the contract administration, inspection, and post construction services at a total cost of $110,226.43 after H.S.T. rebate.
