This Project involves the resurfacing of various roadways within the Township of Woolwich including Hot Mix Resurfacing (HMA), Surface Asphalt (SA) and Culvert Replacement works. The following information provides a brief description of resurfacing parameters and the locations of the program work. Hot Mix Resurfacing – Maryhill Road (70m North of Zingervilla Place to Sideroad 16) This project includes pulverization of the existing asphalt, placement of granular road base, fine grading and compaction of road base, application of tack coat, base and surface asphalt paving, installation of guide rail, shouldering, driveway work, pavement marking and restoration. Hot Mix Resurfacing – Sideroad 16 (Maryhill Road to Wellington Road 86) This project includes pulverization of the existing asphalt, placement of granular road base, fine grading and compaction of road base, application of tack coat, base and surface asphalt paving, shouldering, driveway work, pavement marking and restoration. Hot Mix Resurfacing – Chilligo Road (Woolwich-Guelph Townline to Lerch Road) This project includes milling of the joints, application of tack coat, asphalt paving, shouldering, driveway work, pavement marking and restoration. Surface Asphalt – Old Scout Place (Printery Road to End) This project includes removal of temporary asphalt curbs and installation of concrete curbs at catch basin locations, removal/milling of temporary asphalt ramps at sidewalks and joints, adjustment of water valves, maintenance holes, and catch basins to match surface asphalt elevation, sweeping/cleaning of the existing roadway, application of tack coat, surface asphalt paving, pavement markings and restoration. Culvert Replacement – Delion Place (1000m North of King Street North) This project includes road excavation, removal of existing CSP culvert, installation of new CSP culvert, road building and restoration.

That the Council of the Township of Woolwich, considering Report IS04-2025 respecting Tender Award for the 2025 Paving Program:
- Award Tender 2025-03 to Ekum-Sekum Incorporated o/a Brantco Construction at a total cost of $1,750,821.20 after H.S.T. rebate;
- Authorize staff to negotiate additional work as outlined in this report with Brantco Construction; and
- Allocate any surplus budget for inclusion in the 2026 Paving Program.
