The Council for the Township of Woolwich invites Engineering Consultants to submit a proposal for engineering services for the reconstruction of Maple Street from Church Street West to William Street, including the reconstruction of the rear parking lot of 24 Church Street West. The Township has recently acquired the 6 Maple Street property, which will be included as part of the proposed parking lot reconstruction/expansion. 

            The project limits include the following:

• Maple Street from the intersection of Church Street West to the intersection of William Street. (approximately 170m);
• The rear parking lot at 24 Church Street West, and the property at 6 Maple Street.

The project phasing includes the following:

• Reconstruction of the parking lot at 24 Church Street West and expansion into the property at 6 Maple Street, including the construction of new greenspace. Anticipated construction in 2026. 
• Urbanization/Reconstruction of Maple Street from the Church Street West intersection to the intersection of William Street. The timing for the reconstruction of Maple Street is currently unknown.

Applicants are strongly advised to complete a site visit and review any documentation made available by the Township during the proposal preparation to familiarize themselves with the subject area and to gather all information necessary for a detailed submission. The Township will not consider submissions where it is deemed obvious that the applicant(s) failed to perform this due diligence.
