The work includes the removal of existing asphalt parking lot (including granular road base), regrading, installation of new pavement and curb, and installation of new storm sewers. Additionally, this project will include the installation of new light standards and EV charging stations.

In preparing the tender bid for this project and for scheduling the work under this Contract, the Contractor is advised of the following general information pertaining to the tentative schedule for this project:

• The anticipated starting date for this project is Sept 14, 2026 subject to final municipal, and agency approvals.  The sequence of all construction activities shall be subject to the approval of the Owner.

• NOTE: The Contractor will not be permitted to start work on this project until after all required documentation has been received, and the contract has been signed and approved by the Owner.

• The Contractor shall schedule the sequence of the work, as not to cause significant driveway access problems for residents and businesses, and shall coordinate acceptable time frames with businesses for necessary access, deliveries, etc. 

• The Working Day Allowance allotted for completion of the project in its entirety is set at twenty-five (25) working days.  Refer to Supplemental General Conditions for Liquidated Damages and Special Provisions for additional requirements of Contract and Completion.
